Here at the Swim and Survival Academy, we are passionate about teaching your little ones vital swimming skills and water safety. Our Learners Program offers engaging classes that integrate number recognition, shapes, colors, and sounds into its curriculum–creating a fun and interactive learning experience. is it a good fit for my child?
At SSA we are enthusiastic about finding a fit for your child’s swimming needs.
Our Learn to Swim Program is intended for school aged children. Learn to swim is divided into 11 different levels that skew down to particular skills. This program selection will take you from learning the basic coordination of doggy paddle breath regulation and safe recovery, through to the upper end of our program that practices dives, the 4 competitive strokes, and pacing.
Class sizes are capped at 5 students, allowing for you child to benefit from a scoial learning environment.
Unconfident swimmers older than 4 will be directed to join this program.
Every Learn to Swim teacher completes and keep current a CPR certification, is Austswim accredited, Infant Aquatic accredited, and completes extensive inhouse training. This assures the quality of our teachers.
Classes run for 30 minutes, with one session booked per week. What would an extra 30 minutes to unplug, catchup on socials, or form new relationships with other parents look like for you;
Classes run 3:45 pm – 7:15 pm week nights and 8:15 am – 11:30 am Saturdays
