Want to improve technique?
Try these common hints that our wonderful squad coaches suggest to improve your technique ten-fold

#1 Keep a tight streamline position
Keeping your torso in a tight streamline significantly affects the total amount of Eddy resistance (tail suction) a swimmer will experience.
A good way to think about a streamlined body position is to keep all your joints aligned and your chin tucked into your chest.
This will lead to a more efficient stroke and less exhaustion.

#2 Increase Reach
.Who doesn’t want to go further for less? Rotating through your abdomen will increase your stroke reach. However you do not want to sacrifice speed for power. A healthy balance is a slow and consistent pull through the stroke followed by a quick recovery.
Think of ending each and every stroke with a swift snap to begin the next stroke.

#3 AN Explosive Start
Starting every race with a well-positioned start is the difference between a good swim and a disaster. Remove as many variables as possible, keep it simple and lock a solid footing.
Extend your arms to the sides and then together as you look for your toes to complete a strong dive.

Our Bronze Medallion
