Our interactive program places fun and safe lessons that instill a deep respect for the water and an understanding of one’s limitations through guided experimentation. Our class sizes, create an ideal environment for the development of social skills through shared experiences with fellow swimmers. Your children will learn the art of interaction and the value of collaboration.  Rest assured, with our program, your little ones will quickly master the art of sharing, making playtime a breeze.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere where personalized care and social interaction are prioritized. Our Tiny Learners program, developed through extensive research on childhood development, utilizes internationally recognized swimming techniques. We strive to instill water comprehension and encourage self-reliance in your little ones, empowering them to become confident and independent individuals.

Water safety week

At SSA, we run a comprehensive water safety week in line with “National Safety Day”. Our program is divided into three distinct parts that cater to the swimmer’s age group.

Our kinder kids L1a - L2a will be asked a range of questions throughout their class regarding water safety in all scenarios
  • Pool safety
  • Rivers
  • Ocean Safety
  • Recovering to the edge with a PFD and assorted buoyant objects
  • Sun safety (slip, slop, slap)
  • Understanding the different flags
  • Safe entries
For our higher levels L2b - L7 we extend our topic coverage to
  • Safely entering and exiting boats
  • Rip currents
  •  Reach and rescue / throw rescue
  • Stride entries
  • Survival sidestroke and Survival backstroke
Our squad swimmers complete a comprehensive session throughout their normal lessons that covers
  • Scenarios 
  • DRSABCD
  • CPR
